Jackson extension?

BEN re-worked his contract several different times to lower the cap hit. It’s the pushing money forward that got the STEELERS in trouble, similar to todays cap predicament they are currently in.

Remeber, high salary or low salary…….. we still had the same HC along the way. STACKED teams and yet nothing.

Just hate to see BEN being blamed again for things out of his control.

t*mmyb*y is used as an example yet nothing, crickets on the under the table money shoveled his way. If the Rooneys would have made moves like that everybody would be bitching…. And probably still blaming BEN.

What evidence do you have of Brady being paid under the table? Further, how do you know beyond a reasonable doubt that the Rooneys DIDNT do likewise with Ben?

And Ben doesn't own a sports health treatment company or whatever that is

Come on Rats, pay that man anything he wants.

Joe Burrow is coming up on deck soon. That one should be a doozy.

Don’t give a **** on proof. The Cheatriots organization sent all their physical / massuage / rehab type stuff to t*mmyb*y’s rub and tug parlor. It was in the media when all the t*mmyb*y deflategate went down. the TB12 got blasted as well.

As for the Rodney’s, highly doubt they gave BEN money under the table.

He said She said is all I got……………….. you can’t prove me wrong and I can’t prove you right……

The odds are in my favor when you add in all the cheating the AZZ-hat cheatriots / kraft has done.

I don't think Ben is entirely to blame. Not even close. But there is some responsibility that lies with him (and a lot of other NFL players).

I don't begrudge players making a lot of money for what they put on the line. I think the salary cap should be much higher. Owners are still getting far too big of a slice of the pie. I do think sometimes being the highest paid is more of an ego trip and it does get in the way of winning. But that's human nature.

I have circumstantial evidence that the Rooneys would not have done so - they self-reported a 1998 salary cap violation involving Will Wolford and lost a 3rd round pick.

Does that sound like a team that would avoid the salary cap with disguised payments to Ben?

You're the one making the claim, its on you to back up what you're claiming

Lol seriously?? This isnt proof of him being paid under the table
Ok don't call it under the table. They hired his company and gave him a contract apart from the one he has as a player.

Clearly is not under the table, but it's quite clear 2+2=4 however you want to see it.

These days money gets moved around in tricky ways. Not only in sports. Look into the political arena.

EYEs wide open is a pretty hard concept for some. The answer is there but, you know………. The air let itself out!

There was no evidence on the confiscated tapes, and as Hines stated….. they knew our plays. WTF

If I'm Baltimore I put the non-exclusive tag on Lamar, hope he walks and take the two first round picks. This will not end well for the team that signs him especially with the guaranteed money that's most likely going to be there.

I also have a feeling that the market doesn't exist that wants Lamar for big money.

Just posted.

"Ravens sent notice to the NFLPA that they placed the $32.41 million non-exclusive franchise tag on QB Lamar Jackson. He now is allowed to negotiate with other teams, but the Ravens have the right to match any offer sheet he signs or take two first-round picks in return for him."

It's a gamble. Considering what Carr got, I think Jackson will do better than $32.4 million per, but I don't think he will get what he is asking for. The two first rounders will probably take some of the sting out of losing him to free agency.

I just don't think they think they can win it all with him. I mean, if they did, they would give him what he wants or pretty close to it.

I think it's a good move since they couldn't get something done. See what his market is and then match the offer or move on.
