Does anyone think we get one this year? We beat the Chargers and Broncos earlier this season but they’re not the same teams anymore. I just don’t see how we beat any team other than the Ratbirds. And that’s only because our defense owns them.

Rest of season schedule could hurt how we prepare for playoffs, We have the team to win first round

I don't see this Steelers team winning a playoff game this season! Offense is limited at best! It would take the other teams worst effort for this Steelers team to win a playoff game!

I'm not overly confident in it, as I'm just not sure they have the secondary to hold up against the better QBs in the league, and the lack of depth at WR will probably hinder their ability to keep up.

As I said in the game thread, I'm not sure if the likes of Austin, Jefferson and Williams would even see the field on a lot of other teams.

The front 7 on defense is fairly solid and Russ and even the OL have had their moments, but there are some pretty glaring weaknesses at WR and CB that might be hard to overcome in the post season, as I just don't have a lot of confidence in the coaching being able to compensate for them.

I dunno it is a loss that can cloud vision and make the stirred waters look muddy. I will wait and see then judge them more as the season finishes.

Right now, I’m not sure they get a win in the first round. If it were to end today, they get Denver. If they lose to Baltimore they get the 5th or 6th seed, provided they don’t lose out, which gets them Houston. Back in completely, they get Buffalo.

Even if they get lucky enough to squeeze out a win, no way they get another.

Today’s game showed how much they are lacking against a real playoff team. If not for the kneel down, the D would have given up 34 points. While the O is severely handicapped, the D is seriously overrated.

This years team is exactly why I do not think resigning Wilson is the answer, neither is Fields. This team is in the last year of any possible though of a playoff win. They need a CHEAP 1-2 year QB to get them in position for the 26 or 27 draft. Maybe they get lucky and find a QB gem in the 3rd or 4th either year. 25&26 draft for DL, OL, WR, CB. Be sure to get your starters then fill holes while hoping a QB class in 27 is amazing.

Definitely.

I don't want to hear "Khan artist" again after having this group of receivers while paying the QBs like $5 million. Complete failure on his end.

He was fixated on Brandon Aiyuk for like 6 months, ignoring other options, while Aiyuk was ultimately just playing the Steelers to get more money from the 49ers.

Epic failure, to say the least.

Yes we can beat any AFC team(including chefs) If we are healthy. NFC elite....no.

That wasn’t the only area. They knew DJ had his concerns yet trotted a rookie out and didn’t bring any competent outside help to make the room a strength.

Trying to make due with a guy they knew was going to be suspended, a guy cut for iffy play, and a rookie.

He did a lot of good but those two areas dips his overall score.

Just depends who we play. I dont think we have a chance in hell to beat buffalo unless they self-destruct. I still say we have been pretty lucky against the Ravens so that is a scary matchup. The Bengals are rolling offensively, but have an awful D. Regardless I would not want to play them in the playoffs. Ideally we would play someone we matchup well against in round one and someone would KO buffalo. I think we would have a fair shot against anyone else.

Any .... given ... Sunday.
They're in the tournament. Playing for better seeding, but they are in ... and anything can happen once you're in.

Where is Trice? I get Pierre has the experience but if DJ is out next week then I hope we see some Trice on the outside.

I was really hoping Mike Williams would show up today. Even picked him on my draftkings lineup. But he was invisible. CA3 made some decent plays. I have hope he can be a good slot guy if we can find an outside receiver to go opposite GP.

Brian Thomas is tearing it up in Jacksonville too. Might be a different team if we had him.

From what I saw tonight, I would not be surprised if the Steelers lose the next two and then win the finale at home. 11-6 enough to win the division? Probably not.

If this team has to go on the road in the playoffs, they don't win a game. That simple. The team is just not that good.

Again.

If that happens, just think about this for just a second ... since 2013, the Steelers will have as many postseason wins (3) as the Pirates.

This team will not win in the playoffs u til they change the style they play . Meaning we do the same crap every year.. no more excuses.

A non losing season is not satisfactory.

Every time we play a GOOD team we get exposed and abused.

The stupid penalties NEED TO STOP. We continue to take the same stupid penalties on the Oline.
