Syria. **** show getting worse?

Isaiah 17:1 The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.

They all just need hugs, lot's of pretty girls to brutally rape and good sharp knives to cut heads off those filthy infidels. Gosh just a kittle understanding goes a long way...

...maybe throw in a few sexy goats looking for love in all the wrong places.

Think of it. Seven trillion dollars over 17 year period, we have nothing — nothing except death and destruction. It’s a horrible thing. So it is time. It is time. We were very successful against ISIS. We’ll be successful against anybody militarily. But sometimes it is time to come back home. And we’re thinking about that very seriously.

If true, it'll create another power vacuum, but let's face it, these people won't ever know peace and turning our dollars homeward is the best outcome for the region and for the US. Of course upon hearing this, Lindey Graham wept.

This is great news, and a return to policy he stumped on.

******* climate change again.

Hey...it worked for Sweden, didn't it ?

This is the result of not having and enforcing Immigration Laws that vet those permitted to enter a country.

Then again, why care. We are just as capable of destroying ourselves.

Don't care. You can keep seeing that boogey man everywhere you go. It is time to get out of those **** holes. All we are doing is wasting lives and money. And for what? We have accomplished nothing in Afghanistan either. And with less than 15K Soldiers there, we are steady giving up any gains we made. Time to bring our best home. You wanna deploy? Send them to the southern border. Bigger threat to our nation there anyway.

Libs are still obsessed with the Russians? hahahahahaha

Trump kicked ISIS into the dirt and they still whine? - more proof Obama was a terrorist sympathizer just like all libs

Peace in the Middle East - Nobel Peace Prize Awarded to President Trump!!!

4 more years!

And you already know the outcome of withdrawal before the job is finished....

These battles take on 4 phases

1) Deployment
2) execution of the battle
3) stabilization
4) transition of authority

We haven't even completed phase 3....this is exactly whats occurred in Iraq and Afghanistan and subsequently you experience a resurgence of anti-establishment factions aka insurgency leading to the formation of terrorists.

You don't finish the job you will be guaranteed to see them again. You guys criticized Bush and Obama for going soft or not finishing the mission but now youre okay when the Orange president does it GTFOH.

We haven't finished phase 2. This is a 17 year battle that we have fought to a self imposed stale mate through implementation of rules of engagement that make it harder to fight. Some of it is good, but mostly it is garbage that doesn't allow you to quickly and effectively return fire. I have experienced it personally, taking fire, having to request permission to fire back and answer a series of questions before being allowed to fire back while simultaneously trying not to get hit. When we did the second surge, we should have lifted a lot of those restrictions, taken the battle to them and ended it. But we didn't. Our own rules gave us the ability to fight to a stale mate. It is frustrating.

If that is how we are going to fight, then **** it, get out. If you aren't going there to kick ***, then don't go. It puts strains on people, equipment, training, readiness. Win or go home.

On top of that, most of Afghanistan is warring tribes that the government can't control anyway. Aside from Kabul, Kandahar, Bagram, and maybe Khowst, the country is completely lawless. We can't stabilize that.

No, what I wrote above has pretty much been my stance from the first time I set foot in Afghanistan in 2005 until I last left Afghanistan in 2012. Fight to win or get out. And currently, we are not fighting to win. There is no other reason to be there.

Trump was supposed to lift those rules and he hasn't. To say that's disappointing is an understatement.
