I started following this in 2017 when it was announced that Trump had struck an arms deal with the Saudis. Since it got zero coverage, I figured here we go again with military industrial complex arms deals in the mideast, and what little coverage it got was anti Trump.

Fast forward 8 months. Muhammad bin Salman has aligned with Trump AND Israel, and assumed power very quietly in Saudi Arabia with no bloodshed in his home. He's outspoken against Iran. He views Islam as a religion of peace and demands turning away from terrorism...

Look at it this way, no peace accord has ever worked in the region. All have failed. But in my lifetime I've never seen a Saudi vision like bin Salman.
