damn they can not make it easy

nice start with the pass to CAIII but need more of those stretch the field plays

Kenny was still shaky at times but overall seemed more relaxed

he hit some guys in stride tonight and allowed for some YAC

running game still sucks and it doesn't matter who is back there

cussed wallace most of the night but he made some nice plays tonight

the D only gave up 69 rusing yards tonight but jacobs has not been all that good this season (so far)

4 sacks and a lot of hurries, but jimmy still hit 300 yards passing on them

don't like to ***** about the refs but that call on Minkah was utter bullshit

Special teams played a huge role tonite.
 
One day this team will keep their foot on the gas a pit a team away…. These late game heroics are harder and harder to watch
 
Kenny had happy feet early but looked like he settled down.

Was nice to see Muth coming alive.

Benton and Golden are both helping and are needed.

Broderick needs to be inserted sooner than later.

Boz is money this year.
 
Oh and you here the term double team a lot. It's usually a TE helping a Tackle on the way out of his route. The Faders committed a search back and he basically played as a first Tackle and then second Tackle came after. I'm not sure I've seen that before.

On the surface I'd agree. There was only one opportunity when they had ball and 16 point lead. This team cannot run at will so not much you can do. I believe they went run run pass. That was right call. Now if you want to keep.plsying very aggressive defense that us another story. Clearly that is not Tomlin.
 
I thought leverage was only in play if you used your own player or tried to jump over the line and made contact. Pushing off the blocker's body should be fine?

The 2pt conversion PI call was bunk since the ball was uncatchable. I'd accept a holding call, but not a PI.
 
Start with defense.

Why is Porter not playing more? OK, you want Wallace and Peterson out there. But why is Sullivan out there?

Benton is a good player right now. He'll be a beast when he learns more.

Now the offense

the raiders are a bad defense. Their run defense has been bad. Last week Buffalo ran all over them 183 yds and 5.2 per carry. The steelers were at 3.4 per carry vs the raiders. Raiders had been giving up 27 points per game. Steelers scored 23.

Kenny was 16/28 for 235, 2 TD, 0 INT. That's just a 57% completion rate which is not great, especially when you consider how many short throws are in this offense.

If you remove the single 72 yard pass, kenny's stats are 15/27 for 163 yds. That's just 6 yards per attempt.

The blocking scheme on runs looked better. Less zone blocking which has looked awful. Still more work to do.

Tonight was certainly better but overall it was still a mediocre output vs a bad defense.

Once again there were few throws over the middle despite those being the best plays of the night. Canada has to know that these throws over the middle work. He sees every team do it. It even works when he does it. But he still insists on throwing outside most of the time on routes with far less opportunity for run after catch.

They won the game today but honestly the offense still stuggled but got Lucky and hit a couple here and there. This team is predictable and CANADUH has to be replaced. Raiders stacked the box and usually seemed to guess right. Najee has no chance most of the times he has a chance to run! However I still like Warren better but Najee doesn't have a chance most of the time.
 
Defense bails us out again. Garroppolo threw 3 picks. That's a lot for Tom Bradys understudy who operates under the same guy that had Brady as qb. It looks like he is overrated.
 
We have such great coaches we find things that work and we almost immediately stop doing it and revert back to what is predictable and is easily defended. Tonight proved nothing when it comes to changing the identity on offense.
 
Is our offense designed to block everything down field but the first defender across the line the RB/WR has to make him miss?
 
We beat the Raiders at their place for the first time since 1995. Greatest HC, OC, and DC ever.
 
Obviously the win coincides with successful melted butter and our famous popcorn.

We will build on this activity until even our hydration specialists can deliver the gator aid un aided by obstacles.

When you review the footage of film from the device, you will see tackling / running / and passing.

I will hold back no opportunity to be successful on the field of play.
