Has me pissed on several levels, but the one that's gotten under my skin most is the ****** officiating though the game. What the hell is up with the "taunting" and then the 15 yarder when Cam Heyward most likely asked if the check had cleared yet when Moats was ******* all but tackled on that touchdown run, and no one threw the flag. Then Cam gets the 15 yarder. How about the hand to Ben's facemask that was never called.

There are a LOT of things to find fault with, Haley going for a ******* shotgun draw run on 3rd and 5, that ****** ******* punt, the fact that we finally get a ******* pick and do nothing with it. Brown dropping a sure touchdown off the flea flicker (I didn't see that ************ dancing after that one). But I watch football all day on Sundays, every Monday night, and most Thursdays, and I have to say, it's obvious the zebras stick it in our eyes more than any other team. I wish I was seeing things, but man, when you have Cleveland fans sitting around going "wow, that was bullshit" well, it's getting ******* obvious. What gives NFL?

Joe

The hold on Sean Spence, which ended up being a TD run, was the most egregious call of the day...

The ref continued to screw us when he hit Cam Heyward, noticeably upset after the blatant non-call, a PF flag.

We should have won that game- no excuses. But the ref's were god awful.

Yea, just like that flagrant push off by Brown in the endzone.. oh wait wrong team.

Fact is that the refs suck all the way around. It isn't a conspiracy it's bad officiating.

In a game where a penalty can be called on nearly every single play, it is pretty amazing when a team is getting penalties called on them versus the opponents on a 2-1 ratio...

I don't know, I wish I could agree, but Ben gets a hand to the facemask, and it's no flag. Hell, Ben came off the field with a broken nose in that damn Baltimore game, and that was when flags would fly it you went anywhere NEAR the qb's head, no flag, no foul. I'm trying to recall the last qb for ANY other team who got a broken bloody nose on a play without a flag.

Or Jackson's push off for the winning TD....

I wish the refs quit this bullshit....but it ain't stopping as long as Rog the Dodge holds the reins.

T-Man, you hit the nail on the head about Haley going for a ******* shotgun draw run on 3rd and 5, Despite all the penalties and ****** calls by the ref's, fact is if Ben throws a quick slant or out for 5 measly yards we win the game. Always play to win is a long standing tradition in Pittsburgh that Mr. Haley has yet to grasp...

I have no problem running the ball. But if youre going to run- RUN. Line up in I formation and pound the rock.

Dont try to be cute; Everyone including my girlfriend saw that HB Delay coming from a mile away.

I thought they would at least run a screen. I saw that and thought "If this is a delay, or some sort of draw, I'm going to lose my mind" Sure enough, there it was.

****.

Now this is where coaching does come into play for me. You need one first down. Find the one play that has worked all day. The play action pop pass to Heath worked everytime it was called yesterday. Against a team expecting a run that is the play to call.

EXACTLY.

I dont know who called that play- but I hope Tomlin rips out the HB delay on 3rd downs in crucial times during a game. How many times have we only needed 3 yards or so, and when run that terrible delay for a whopping 1 yarder.

Unless somebody drops the damn ball. Draws have worked for more than 5 yards in the past. Dropping a catch that could have been a touch down earlier in the game might have cost us the game. It is not realistic to say that one play cost us the game, there were lots of them.

And Ben goes along with that dumb *** play call?

LOTS of blame to go around...most notably this teams inability to TACKLE

ben has to start killing those 3- short draw calls haley is calling for bring archer in try a end around or a read option playaction and keep trusting heath.

It isn't the ratio if they are consistent. It's a consistency problem not a "let's get the Steelers" problem. I'm never going to be the Seachicken's fans crying about refs. You want to look at the SB penalties ratio that year? Nope. I don't care. How a fan base that has won more SBs than any team in the league can think there is a conspiracy against them is just ridiculous. The refs are just bad and have been for a long time.

Tomlin and Haley were talking right when the play was call. I don't know who's idea it was but they obviously both agreed to run it.

Concur.

Further, the vast majority of penalties called on the Steelers - the face mask penalties, the hands to the face, the endzone celebration, etc. - were correctly called.

The refs definitely missed the holding on the TD run. But blaming the refs for this loss? When they let Timmons have a lot of contact with the receiver in the end zone and did not throw a flag? Yeah, no.

You are referring to the very same year when Troy picked off the ball, ran about 4 steps with it, dropped it, then fell on it, and it was called an incomplete, and not an interception and a fumble IN A PLAYOFF GAME. THAT is the year you're referring to? Funny how the Seachicken fans, and apparently SOME FANS HERE forget that prior to that year the Pittsburgh Steelers had THREE official apologies for bad calls from the NFL, all three of which resulted in losses. They also forget that very call, the call Porter correctly said was "the nfl's attempt to get the Manning to the Superbowl". I mean, ****, how do you review that play and get it wrong. Any ******* doucher from the street can come in and make that call, and you're telling me guys who do this for a ******* living don't know that an interception followed by 4 steps is a ******* interception?

**** man, you gotta be kidding me.

On the play with Timmons the ball was uncatchable. A call there would've really made an already crappy officiating day that much worse. The Steelers should've put this team away regardless.

I think that would be a bit of the problem..they don't do it for a living..

Yes, I'm referring to the same year that the Steelers won the SB for the 5th time. The same year that bungles fans wanted our DE thrown out of a game for taking out Palmer. The same year that Seattle bitched that the Super Bowl was stolen from them. Also if this is a true conspiracy then how in the hell did the Steelers win the SB? Just a no call on the Seattle TD and the game is totally different. Did the ref not get the memo?

BTW if the refs were out to get the Steelers then why no call in the end zone on the last Indy drive that year? I mean if they are so out to get them then why not throw a flag there. There was contact. So why no flag?

The pass was easily catch able if Timmons did not interfere and never looked back for the ball. We were given a great gift by the refs.

Ask James "they flagged and fined me for the hit, but are selling the ******* picture of it on NFL.com" if the officials are a little biased against the Steelers. ****, even the national media has mentioned that James was the whipping boy for good old Roger the year they changed the rules.

And don't get me wrong, I'm not saying this is actually organized, but I do see a lot of bullshit watching Steeler games I just don't see much of in other games. I don't know if it's possible the shittiest ******* crew follows our team from stadium to stadium, but whatever the **** it is, it is def there. Again, the WORST bad call I've EVER seen in the playoffs was that interception/non interception. Again, how the **** do you take 4 steps with the ball, and call it an incomplete pass? If they weren't trying to give that game to Manning, then they should have all been fired after it for not knowing jack **** about football.

Joe

I mean, ****, at least if it was fixed it wouldn't make me think we had total ******* morons on the field in stripes.
