Steelers are 5-2
G men are 2-5, (though 2-1 on the road)
Its a Monday Night game, the third primetime game in 4 weeks for the steelers...

Mike Tomlin has something like a 21-3 record on Monday night..

The Steelers are riding either a 22 or 23 game winning streak at home on Monday night...

The giants, on the other hand, have been abysmal in prime time since they drafted Daniel Jones... he has a 1-15 record in primetime games

As far as tiebreakers go, this game only matters for the third division tiebreaker. After head to head and division record... it will be a common game with all our division foes... (the only other AFC team they play is the Colts, who already have the tiebreaker on us, so that does not matter.. )
They have a middling Defense and horrid offense.. the worse we will face all year long...

This all likely means we inexplicably lose... but lets hope for the best here headed into the bye week...

Decent odds this team makes the playoffs . But they need to know every game impacts seeding. So they should have a sense of urgency reflected in preparation. Up to the HC to make sure there is no let up.

Don't be surprised if you see the Steelers with another 30+ points on the score board... hell, they very well could get a 40 burger on 'em...

I'm hoping new team management has ended the team uninspired, lack-of-discipline ways of Tomlin. One can dream.

The Steelers will knock their dick in the dirt.

So there will be dirty dick play.................................................

I think we win, but too close for comfort.

Don't forget to get in the Prediction thread and post your numbers.........................

Russ will help open up the offense and unless the D just ***** the bed this is an easy win on Monday night

I fully agree here Coolie, this will be a chance for the TEAM to shed a little "play down" character of the past. I hope the team knows and lives like they have something that could be special.

One more thing to realize, the Jets and Giants are turning out to be the best thing for the Russ Wilson return. He should be tuned up and rust free going into the by week. Get a little rest and then the big press forward schedule.

I think Russ wanting to show he is the #1 QB will prevent the trap game...that and the Giants are a complete train wreck.
The list showcasing Mediocre Mike's failures to lessor teams is too long to list at this point, but let's just say it's really long (2023 includes losses to two 2-10 teams, consecutively and to the 2024 Cowboys and Colts for instance). But let's just hope the primetime status of the upcoming MNF game will ward off the Tomlin's tendency for team disaster against worser teams. Even Mediocre Mike's colossal list of failures doesn't compare to his winning in primetime schedule.
