Kraft is a model owner I mean right after Bill was caught cheating he gave him a raise.
I hold anything he has to say in the highest regard.
I hold anything he has to say in the highest regard.
Kraft: "Hi, uh... what's your name again, son?"
Ball guy: "Bob, sir."
Kraft: "Bob, how'd you like to make a quick $100,000, completely under the table?"
Bob: "Really?"
Kraft: "All you gotta do is take the fall for this DeflateGate thing..."
I'd say that I can't believe Kraft had the audacity to do that presser begging for apologies....but he's proven himself an *******. So this doesn't shock. me.
Look....this all boils down to "what can be proven". The Patriots have in their favor, lack of evidence. Kraft knows this. Its not what you KNOW, its what you can PROVE. The Cheatriots have turned over video to the league in this investigation...its how they know about the locker room attendant. But dont think for a moment that the team hasnt combed over those videos (all of the cameras that might display some sort of tampering).
The kid took balls from the officials holding area after they were released. Went to another area (bathroom with no surveillance) and was out of sight for around 90 seconds. 90 seconds i more than ample time to deflate 11 footballs by 2 psi (by my count 5-6 seconds per ball). If theres no video evidence of this, the Cheatriots contend "you cant pin this on us if you have no physical of visual evidence".
The league should state that their officials checked pressures, signed off on them, turned them over to the team and low and behold 90% of the Pats balls somehow return under league inflation specs. "Thats your footballs, handled by YOUR personnel. We deduce thru logic that someone in YOUR organization removed air that would serve one or a few athletes in YOUR organization."
but the comish has set a precedence when he punished the Saints " ignorance is no excuse" so it is going to be interesting to see what he does now ...
Isn't it kinda odd that it took the NFL an entire week to figure out that the Patriots employee who took possession of the balls after inspection was a strong person of interest?
Really? A week!
I guess they want to appear like they are actively investigating this while doing their damnedest to drag their feet?

Is this old news? I've honestly lost track.
yeah that is old news but after reading the article I don't think it is impossible for the guy to walk into the bathroom and get ANOTHER bag of balls that were marked from a PREVIOUS game that have already been deflated .. that would only take 90 seconds ..
maybe the 12 extra balls that were suppose to be used in the Ravens game, that is if there is a mark on them to indicate that they were checked ===
Oh and why one was not deflated was so they had one to hand to the officials if they asked to SPOT check the PSI for the balls during the game -- they had NO idea that they were going to check them all
I'd bet that Belicheat will be allowed to be ignorant.
the video shows the employee in the bathroom for approximately 90 seconds.
so the Pats have cameras inside their restrooms?
wtf kinda ****** up **** are they doing up there?

An interesting quote from Goodell in 2008 regarding burden of proof and cheating:
“Too often competitive violations have gone unpunished because conclusive proof of the violation was lacking,” Goodell wrote. “I believe we should reconsider the standard of proof to be applied in such cases, and make it easier for a competitive violation to be established.”
This, to me, suggest there's no way the Patriots don't get punished. We'll see...
