Deflate-gate......God I hate the Pats!!!!

You just know that Bill and Co. are working on their lame excuse and how they're innocent of any wrong doing.
What really bugs me in all this is just think of all the **** that they weren't caught doing over the years. Just like any criminal caught doing any crime, almost never is the crime they were caught for the only one they ever committed.

What PR nightmare for the NFL! I mean how do you handle this a week and a half before the Super Bowl? How do you convince the fans your product is legitimate and still promote the Patriots? And good luck trying to suggest, again, that no competitive advantage was gained.

Really? The casual fan could give two ***** about this.....That's where the NFL centers their attention on.

The NFL is bullshit. It's not even a sport anymore. This stuff should never happen. So here we are at 2 pounds a ball i am hearing deflated on most of them. If these pricks are this bold to even deflate the footballs what else do they do to get that edge? They're a black eye to the term patriot.

What if the Pats win the SB?
Is it legitimate?
A ban from the NFL Pete Rose style is needed
Replay the championship game if I was a Colts fan I would be furious.
Caught twice now tell me how can we not believe they have been cheating for a long long time?
NFL.com doesn't even have the story on their website. bwahahaha Roger think you will sweep this one away for your buddy?

(shaking my ******* head)

Ha! 11 outta 12, well cot-damn...God I wish they could award Indy a SB appearance

That would be the right thing to do, but Roger wouldn't think of it.

I promise you this is even bigger than a lot realize or willing to admit. Way back at Spygate I said they were doing more than they were caught with.

******* joke of a league.......

At the end of the day it's all about$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. They could care less about honor, integrity and true sport.

One ball, I might be able to understand. (Not saying I am excusing that, but **** happens sometimes). But 11?

Good on D'Qwell Jackson for bringing this to attention. He deserves the (properly inflated) game ball.

WIll those in this forum that claimed Belichek as a great coach please represent themselves on the forum today in a separate thread. You know who you are.....dont allow your ***** to get called out. Stand the **** up, own the **** up and say you proclaimed a cheatin ******* as a great coaching legend.

With Spygate and now this, now ****** way in hell does he get awarded election into the pro football hall of fame.

Thank you D'Quell Jackson for opening the gate to highlight what we suspected all along....STILL THE PATS, STILL THE FRAUDS...CHEATIN ********

I did not even watch the game because I was busy playing Madden with my son. It was more entertaining and there was less cheating.

Belichek needs to be called out in the Super Bowl pressers. Tell him enough of the smug BS and answer the damn questions. He doesn't respect the NFL and feels he can do whatever he wants....hit him where it will hurt and that means he sits out the Super Bowl and a one-year ban. Put him on notice his SB trophies are on the plate to be withdrawn with the next infraction and the Pats lose 3 first round picks. THAT will send the message loud and clear.

Flat balls had nothing to do with the AFC Championship ...they beat the snot out of the Colts

That's not to say they aren't cheats..that's not to say they shouldn't be fined have draft picks taken away hell even suspend Bellycheat...theirs is a proven pattern of bending/ breaking the rules and the league needs to come down hard on them because they have this pattern.

They will say and their fans will say everyone does it. So if thats the case why are you the team that always gets caught..are you that bad at it (doubtful) so that leaves us with the fact that you are cheaters..

I heard Ross Tucker this morning complaining because the Cheats wins will always be tainted by these cheating scandals ..and they really had no affect on the wins..really Ross really ..maybe the flat balls had no affect...but what else were they doing that did have an affect..why should we think flat balls and video taping are all they are doing ..

Rog you are a total toolbag and we know you and Kraft have something going...who pitches who catches I really could care less...but step up and dig deeper than flat balls and video tape..because we all know there is more there..

You want to know what they used the properly inflated ball for? Kicking.

Here's what I believe (and who am I - just a fan) would be an acceptable punishment, IF, they are proven guilty:

1. Lifetime ban from the league for all coaches involved
2. First & Second round draft picks lost from the upcoming draft

Some may say, why not hit them financially - the punishment above would hurt PLENTY financially if Bellicheat, Josh McDaniels, etc... are gone. So would the loss of the 31/32, 63/64 picks this year...

They did, but it's tricky to say that. The advantage gained by the deflated balls would have been that the Pats would throw and catch the ball better than the Colts could. The Colts dropped absolutely everything thrown to them in that freezer. The Pats dropped nothing, and now we find that their balls were under-inflated. That's the primary reason for the ***-kicking; the Colts punted and punted and turned it over and punted while the Pats extended drives and scored TDs.

This is key here. No team has more of a cheating pattern.

I was in and out of sleep this morning and stupidly turned on Sportscenter to fall back asleep to. Steve Young said the same stuff. He said, "Ya know, all of the Pats' amazing accomplishments and they get thrown out for their stupid bonehead moments!" Because these are probably the ONLY two methods they've used to cheat, right? And they're just bonehead moments; not like they did anything wrong. Multiple blatant large-scale cheating scandals are just whoopsie moments.

I honestly think they need to be audited/investigated on a running basis for awhile. All of their operations and gameday methods.

Making it easier to throw and catch is a distinct advantage in a league that has done everything it can to make the passing game easier. Especially, when the other team is actually following the rules and do not get that advantage. Another, especially, is that you KNOW, they have been practicing with deflated balls, too. It's not like they just decided to do that for this game to see if it would work.

In any event, anyone who can't see this as a clear advantage and had nothing to do with the score, is blind. We can also go with the old saying "if it didn't give an advantage, why did they do it with such a large portion of the balls they used, and risk all that could be lost by doing it?"

For sure. I bet this is the iceberg effect. We only see the tip, these aholes are far more involved in cheatfest than we'll ever know.

Yep. The fact that the game was a blowout doesn't mean this had no effect. How do people think it became a blowout? The Colts being unable to move the ball and the Pats catching everything they threw. Their fkin LT caught a 16-yard TD pass.

I think these are the only 2 they have been caught doing.

Plenty for me. Two massive ones, both occurring during periods of great success. Videotaping to memorize opponent signals against league rules, and providing significantly misinflated footballs for their own in-game use.

Also consider that their long-time coordinator - who was with the team during Spygate - was busted in another videotaping scandal on his next team.

The Colts could not stop the run ...just as they have not been able to the last couple/few times these 2 played..that really has nothing to do with a deflated ball..the Cheats were the more physical team...and that usually leads to being the winning team...I just don't see the balls being the reason the Colts lost...maybe a closer game would have come about without the deflated balls...just my opinion ...
