This will be the best undrafted free agent class ever. The steelers better be burning up the phones because there are some great prospects. Here's some of the guys i'm looking for.
QB
Stephen Morris- Miami - athletic, really good arm
Jeff Matthews - Cornell - pocket passer with big arm, obviously smart.
Jordan Lynch - N Illinois - probably not an NFL QB but a very good athlete, maybe a good special teamer, try him at RB or maybe Safety
RB
George Atkinson Georgia Tech
WR
Brandon Coleman Rutgers - 6'6 not a great athlete but huge
Bennie Fowler Michigan State - tough
Cody Hoffman BYU - 6'4 -
L'Damian Washington - Missouri 6'4 - suspect hands
TE
Jacob Pedersen Wisconsin - H Back type
AC Leonard Tennessee State - move TE, ran a 4.5 40, great athlete, terrible blocker
Blake Annen Cincinnati - small, ran a 4.41 40, Cincy TEs have been good in NFL lately
Nic Jacobs McNese St - big, one of the few potential blocking TEs
OL
Mike Hunchak C Monmouth - just because his name is Mike Hunchak
Antonio Richardson OT Tennessee - this guy was graded as a 2nd rounder. Must be some kind of red flag we don;t know about.
Matt Patchan OT/G Boston College - short arms for T buy athletic and could be a good D in the zone scheme
Ryan Groy G Wisconsin - mauler
LB
Jackson Jeffcoat DE/OLB Texas - can't believe he wasn't drafted. Must be an injury flag or something.
Max Bullough ILB Michigan St - really productive and tough
Shaquil Barrett OLB Colorado St - Joey Porter's project, a good practice squad guy
Adrian Hubbard OLB Alabama - can play strong side behind Worilds.
Rashaad Reynolds CB Oregin St- another guy who is a surprise free agent.
Craig Loston S LSU - could be another Ryan Clark
Kenny Ladler S Vanderbilt - athletic, smart
ANthony Fera K/P Texas - transferred from Penn State to be closer to his sick mother. DId both K and P at both schools. Doing both probably stopped him from being great at either one but he has a great leg.
