One thing I’ve learned over the years is that the NFL is very unpredictable and always changing. One week everyone is singing the Steelers praises, they’re a legit SB contender, blah, blah, blah.
Now it’s the other end of the spectrum. We’re frauds, fools good, not as good as they thought, blah, blah, blah.
However, if we win against the Chiefs tomorrow and win our last game everything will change once again.
It’s just a never ending merry go round in this league.
We all need to just relax and see how this unfolds.

Kinda like the those who think they know more than an actual NFL coach, any coach really, if you are honest with yourself and will critique on hindsight every decision or any play call that’s detrimental. All the while thinking they have it all figured out. Yep, the mirror recognizes the face in it.

And that's because it's a game of matchups, injuries, and to a lesser extent Xs and Os as everyone runs basically the same plays (dependent on available personnel), and coaching in situational football.

If you see what I wrote there you will see at times we are weak in some areas and at times weak in all. All are variables that can be adjusted and ebb and flow year to year...the one thing that doesn't change in the case of the Steelers is the non-player leadership. Everyone who is honest with themselves can do the math.

Don’t take this stuff serious. It’s a Steeler message board and we are all passionate fans and sometimes our emotions get the better of us.
I don’t know you like I don’t know others on this board but I think I’m correct with saying that you love your Steelers and you get pissed and frustrated seeing the same crap unfold year after year. You just show your emotions and feelings more so than others and that’s cool.
But please consider… I know where you were coming from with criticism of our games we won and lost this year but you have to know that fans are going to take exception to that critique.
Fans don’t like to see their team harshly criticized especially when they win games.
I get it though you’re frustrated and you want them to succeed but we all want the same thing.
Like you said, watch the game tomorrow, relax and maybe they can pull out a win.

So I am deep frying a prime rib loin tomorrow.

I've got the equipment to do that, but I'm nervous to try it.

I made one this year sous vide style for Thanksgiving and it was amazing. Salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder over the surface before vac/bagged, and then immersed at 132* for 18 hours. Sear/finish up was 450* in the oven after a pat-dry for about 7-8 minutes. No grey band and was evenly reddish-pink throughout. Will definitely do again and I hope yours turns out awesome as well.

1st of all, we won that LAC game with them using a backup QB for most of the game. But even though I was not tricked by the fool's gold throughout the season, regardless of our gaudy record. There were signs everywhere that it was still a Mediocre Mike team, and that was proven true, just as it will continue to do throughout our season. Playoff win? Doubtful. Mediocre Mike isn't up for it, as his last 4 playoff games have proven.
