The Chiefs remind me a lot of the 2020 Steelers in that they're undefeated halfway through the season, but are doing it in about the ugliest, least convincing way possible. They still have to be considered the team to beat in the AFC due to the combination of their QB, their record and being the defending champions, but they seem pretty vulnerable. The scary thing about them is their post season experience and the fact they have room to improve as Deandre Hopkins gets more familiar with their offense.
The Ravens pass defense has been terrible, and Lamar has established a reputation for choking in the playoffs
The Bills don't really have any glaring weaknesses and would probably be the AFC team I would currently bet on, as they have been knocking on the door for awhile. Saying that, Josh Allen is really the only part of their team I would consider elite. Their receivers , OL and defense are decent but not great.
At this point, why not the Steelers in that AFC?
Tomlin is a concern given recent post season struggles, but they're currently top 10 in the league in scoring offense and defense. Russ is putting it in the end zone and has Super Bowl experience. They need to tighten some things up on the OL and in the secondary, but both units have shown stretches of good play, with the consistency lacking.
