TD catch by Pickens was beautiful awesome body control

what the **** was that with the fake punt that deep? I get it, you saw something you could exploit. It SHOULD have worked.... but damn not that deep in your side of the field

Daniels is better than caleb williams

Defense was great, then bad, then okay then.....they gave up some long drives the secondary had some big penalties but they played well overall

ballasy call on 4th and 1 in the 4th quarter...glad to see they did not try to get tricky and just pounded it for the 1st

they need to stop throwing deep to Van Jefferson and CAIII unless they are wide open....Pickens is open if only one guy is on him

Really nice to have Warren back healthy until the fumble

Williams' first catch is a HUGE TD...Welcome to Pittsburgh sir

Highsmith going down sucks...that looked bad

awesome stand on 4th down - too damn close though, I was sure they were going to give it to them.

washington ****** themselves out of a last chance by jumping offsides...no way were the Steelers going to snap it (I hope)

Love Victory Formation

Looks like a sprain with Alex but I don’t even play a Dr. on TV.

What a play by the new addition.

I knew it was going to be a nail biter but damnnnnn.

I honestly didn’t think this was a W but the new OC is capable. Can’t say enough good things about Smith.

Tough break on that goal like fumble you would like to see perhaps a whistle there.

Anywho 1 2 3 win!

Once again, the officials were horrendous. Warren's fumble should have been blown dead for forward progress. Then, Watt was obviously held in the endzone which would have been a safety. That doesn't include the rest of the games horrible calls and missed calls.

I hope Highsmith is OK.

Both new additions came to play!

Trump won. Penn State won. And, the Steelers won! I'd call that a good week!

Yeah, the Highsmith injury did not look good.

Shout out to the rookies on the OL (Frazier, McCormick). Really solid blocking in the interior for the running game, okay pass protection.

Refs are really going after JPJ. The contact he is called on happens a ton in the NFL without a call.

Wilson makes the offense sooo much better. Skins, uhh, Commanders, are a solid defense and putting up 28 is legit. Oh, and love 4 TD's. Boz XP only, please.

Here’s an observation Coolie. They actually scored TD’s instead of FG’s. I’d say Wilson didn’t have his best stuff today…..yet they still scored 28 points on 4 TD’s. When was the last time our all world Kicker didn’t kick a FG? I’ll have to look that up.
Let’s hope Alex is better than that looked. Cheers guys……this is the type of game good teams win.

Oh, and Mike Williams certainly demonstrated those terrible hands on the TD. Wow, a junior high kid can catch a ball coming directly overhead and ending up on the opposite shoulder from where the receiver is originally looking and keep both feet inbounds in a very small area to work.

Pffft, I could make that catch.

I did the same thing a couple of months ago. Put the whole ankle sideways on the floor. It felt broke initially. Took me 5 weeks to get right. I am 52. He is much younger than me. Hopefully he got lucky. The doctor told me thst an outside bend is better than an inside bend. We really need Highsmith to make a run. We were doing so good with injuries.

too drunk to think of that one

I tell you the one I could have made. Pierre's.

Thats as quality a win as they have in a long fk'n time. Thats a good team. Welcome to the team Mike. The non division leaders keep losing essentially 4 up on playoffs. Probably more with tie breakers. Queens best game as Steeler.
I sure agree with the Patrick Queen comment. His best game.

It wasn't the most efficient game for Russ, but with him, the offense puts it in the end zone more frequently than it has in years and that's what matters. He simply gets the WRs much more involved than Fields did.

The running game got off to a slow start, but starting gashing the Commanders late in the game

The pass defense has been disappointing this year. JPJ hasn't progressed as expected and the safeties just aren't making many plays on the ball.

Watt has had his moments this season, but he's not having the overall impact he had in years past. I know he has to deal with holding and double teams, but that has been the case for years now. He might be starting slow down a bit, as edge players often do around his age.

The Steelers might have gotten a call on that 4th down spot near the end of the game. It just seemed too close to overturn the call on the field.

Overall, I'm allowing myself to become a little optimistic. They're 7-2 with the most balanced offense they've had since maybe the killer B era.

With that being said, the defense is a concern with the inconsistent pass rush and weak secondary play. Not really sure how they would fare against the likes of the Ravens, Chiefs or Bills.

Yea, really puts a damper on the win. I replayed it and I would almost guarantee its broke. One shot I had looked like its past 90 degrees bent. :(
I didn't see that. I came back to TV when it showed the twist. Now I saw the replay on web...no bueno. It stayed bent like you're saying.

Didn’t I once get you squared away on the final seconds? Lol
It’s 3 2 1 win!
You know, the final seconds off the clock!

Great game! However, I think they need to keep pounding the ball on the ground and throw in the occasional pass. Keep going back to the well, it will wear them down and won't be close. When we run, we win. Just my .02
