The Hypocrisy of Hollywood

I'm harrassed at work by a woman I work with. On the regular.
I couldn't care less, though, since she has a great *** and some perky ****.

One of my customers, a steel mill in Kalifornia, employs a lab tech in their quality department who has a giant, spectacular rack. Everyone else who works there (all men) calls her DoubleD, or DeeDee. She doesn't mind.

This **** is off the chain. I mean, I don't know if ALL of these women were sexually harassed / abused, or if ANY of them were. The most concerning thing, to me anyway, is that we have lost the presumption of innocence. Doesn't matter if the guy is on the right or the left. Somebody makes an accusation against someone, that person's life must be destroyed. No due process. If "all women are to be believed" without question in regards to this stuff, you better pray you don't put yourself in a questionable situation, or that someone doesn't turn on you and make a false accusation. If it happens, you're ******. Game over. And that isn't right. I know it is fun to watch these political and Hollywood elites get theirs, but what if it isn't true in some cases? Those innocent get caught in the wave of this new #metoo fad, and lose everything. Family, friends, anything they worked for. It isn't right.

Right. If someone did something as minor as grab your *** or propositioned you 10 years ago, do you really feel the need to embarrass and humiliate not only that person but their family also by going public with the accusation? If you really feel wronged and resentful, contact the person privately and tell them how you feel and give them a chance to apologize.

It kind of makes you wonder if some of these people want their 15 minutes of fame for having experienced a minor assault.

Within the past month I've had the same female coworker grab my chest and rub my chest/stomach with both hands on about 5 occasions. Over the years I've had my *** grabbed on many occasions by females at work and once back in the day I had my package grabbed full on....there was complete cuppage involved. There have probably been 20 to 30 instances in the work place since I was in my early 20's. It's never once occurred to me to be offended or to report it as harassment. Actually I always kinda chalked it up as a job perk. I think it goes both ways but it will never be an epidemic like this for female on male harassment because males will never report it......simply because for the average male, it doesn't bother them all that much.

I kind of wonder that myself. I don't know. A lot of it seems like piling on. A chance to be "a part of something." I mean, if you were really sexually harassed or assaulted, that is no bueno. It isn't ok. But if you have your chest half hanging out of your shirt and a guy checks out your boobs in a restaurant, that isn't sexual assault or harassment. I just wonder if those sorts of things are part of the whole #metoo thing. It seems like EVERY woman in America has been sexually harassed or assaulted. If you read the #metoo Twitter page you would think so anyway. Boggles the mind.

I am waiting for the next victim class to come along...the chicks who were so undesirable that no one groped them. They will demand reparations.

A lot of these men are admitting to it, at least some of it, so presumption of innocence goes out the window. But I agree with what you're saying, there is the potential for a lot of abuse. I mean, we should have learned that after Duke and UVA.

Or she goes along with it to be "one of the guys" and avoid repercussions.

Not to brag but in my younger years I was hit on by plenty of men. Never had anyone just reach out and grope though. Guess I should feel left out.

I did have a guy compliment me on my **** in the car on our way to our first date. Made for a short first-and last-date.

At least he was honest. Would you rather have dated someone who didn't like your ****?

Congressional Black Caucus member: Conyers should step down as top Dem on House panel

Washington (CNN)Rep. Gregory Meeks, a New York Democrat and a member of the Congressional Black Caucus, said Wednesday that his colleague Rep. John Conyers of Michigan should leave his post as the top Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee as he is the subject of a House Ethics Committee investigation.

"No one is exempt from bad behavior, and I think that he's agreed and I clearly see where Leader (Nancy) Pelosi has said there will be an immediate ethics committee, a review," Meeks told CNN. "I really think that probably the appropriate thing right now is that he should step down as the ranking member of the Judiciary Committee and be subject to this ethics investigation."

I think we can all agree there should be a law against THAT guy posting graphic pics.

Two MORE Women Accuse Sen. Al Franken Of Inappropriate Touching

One woman told HuffPost that Franken had grabbed her backside at an event honoring women.

The first woman, who spoke to HuffPost on condition of anonymity because she’s worried she’ll be harassed online for making the allegation, said Franken groped her when they posed for a photo after a June 25, 2007, event hosted by the Minnesota Women’s Political Caucus in Minneapolis.

“My story is eerily similar to Lindsay Menz’s story,” the first woman said. “He grabbed my buttocks during a photo op.”

The second woman told HuffPost that Franken cupped her butt with his hand at a 2008 Democratic fundraiser in Minneapolis, then suggested the two visit the bathroom together. She spoke on condition of anonymity out of fear that the allegation could affect her position at work.

Just 22% Say Franken Should Stay In Office

A new KSTP/SurveyUSA poll in Minnesota finds that just 22% of Minnesotans surveyed said Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) should remain in office. Another 33% say he should resign.

Nate Silver: “I think Democrats have underestimated how seriously voters are taking the Franken allegations and how hypocritical it makes them look.”

Dem Rep. Kathleen Rice: 'John Conyers Should Resign,' Allegations Credible and 'Repulsive'

A Democratic congresswoman is calling on colleague John Conyers to resign.

Rep. Kathleen Rice (D- NY) put out a statement today following reports of harassment allegations against the long-serving Democratic congressman.

Rice says the allegations against Conyers are “as credible as they are repulsive,” saying, “We all know credible allegations when we hear them, and the same is true of hypocrisy.”

Conyers’ wife, disgraced Detroit City Councilwoman Monica Conyers, served three years in prison for bribery. Now it’s hubby’s turn to be in the scandal limelight.

At last we have come to a bipartisan agreement.

Sounds like the Barton scandal might be a case of revenge porn. If that’s the case, I hope the woman gets charged (and not just because the pics were gross).

Ron Burgundy is shocked and appalled at the number of media members accused of sexual harassment.
